ADHD assessment in Varanasi
Understanding attention, impulsivity and hyperactivity — with practical strategies.
Our Varanasi centre is led by Dr Sabi Qazi, and assesses children for ADHD alongside the rest of their development — because the question is rarely only about one thing.
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) affects how a child manages attention, impulses and activity levels. Children with ADHD may find it hard to focus, sit still, or wait — often more than is expected for their age.
Where you would be seen in Varanasi
What parents often notice
- •Difficulty sustaining attention, or seeming not to listen
- •Easily distracted, forgetful, or losing things often
- •Restlessness, fidgeting, or difficulty staying seated
- •Acting before thinking, interrupting, or difficulty waiting
- •Struggles at school that don't match the child's ability
Every child is different, and noticing one or two of these doesn’t mean your child has ADHD. If you’re unsure, an assessment brings clarity.
How geniuslane helps
The assessment is the same wherever you are seen, and it is multidisciplinary rather than a single appointment with a single professional. What an ADHD assessment involves →

Coming to us in Varanasi
Who would see my child in Varanasi?
Our Varanasi centre is led by Dr Sabi Qazi. Assessment is multidisciplinary, so depending on what your child needs you may also meet a psychologist, a speech and language therapist or a play specialist from the same team.
We live outside Varanasi. Is it worth travelling?
Many families travel in from across Uttar Pradesh. The first appointment is the long one; after that, much of the follow-up happens through the family app and, where it suits you, by video — so the travel is usually front-loaded rather than repeated every week.
Do we need a referral for ADHD assessment?
No. Parents can book directly. If your child has already been seen elsewhere, bring any reports with you — they save repeating work.
Questions about ADHD itself — the signs, the causes, what a diagnosis means — are answered on the ADHD page →
This page is general information to help parents, not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice. Every child is different. For a diagnosis or personalised guidance, book an assessment with our team. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
