How we support families
Your child's whole programme, in your pocket — their plan, their videos, their reports, and a caring team a tap away. Built with parents, in your language.
What each part does
Everything is under My Child. Here's what you'll find, and how to use it.
Understanding the diagnosis
A gentle, guided read about your child's diagnosis — what it is, what helps at home, and what to avoid — in 12 languages.
How to use: On My Child, once your report is ready. Pick your language at the top.
Reports
Your child's assessment reports in plain language, ready to read any time — and now saveable as a PDF to keep or share.
How to use: Open Reports → tap a report → Save as PDF.
Recommended videos
Short videos that show you exactly what to do at home, each matched to your child's plan. Little and often makes the difference.
How to use: Open Recommended videos → watch, then try it in everyday moments.
Your assistant
Ask anything about your child, any time, in your language — grounded in your child's own plan.
How to use: Tap the assistant → type or speak; switch language any time.
Messages
A direct line to your care team for questions and updates. When you'd rather speak to a person, this is the place.
How to use: Open Messages → start a conversation; you're told when your team replies.
To-dos & records
Your next small steps, and a place to upload your child's earlier records so your team has the full picture.
How to use: Open To-dos for your steps; use Records to upload documents.
Getting started in four steps
You don't need to be “good with apps.” If you can send a message, you can do this.
Accept your invite
Your centre sends an invitation. Tap the link and sign in with a one-time code emailed to you.
Connect your child
Enter the connection code from your clinic — it safely links your child to your account.
Explore My Child
Open your child's page and look around — reports, videos, the diagnosis guide and your assistant.
Do a little each day
Watch one video, try one small thing, ask one question. Small steps, often, are what change things.
If something isn't working
Nothing should get in the way of supporting your child. Start at the top and only move down if you need to.
Message your care team
Open Messages and tell us what's happening — the quickest route for anything about your child. Prefer to talk? Tap “Talk to a person” in the assistant.
Email support
If something's broken — a report won't open, a video won't play, you can't sign in — email us with your child's name and what you saw.
support@geniuslane.orgCall your centre
If it's urgent, or you haven't heard back, call your centre and ask for your child's team. For a medical emergency, always contact your local emergency services first.
How we've changed lives
“My child cried and cried, and I didn't know how to cope. After talking to the assistant on the app, I finally understood what was happening and how to handle it — it gave me real insight, and real motivation. The change in us after that was real. Having the videos and all the support in one place is excellent.”
