Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 August 2026
This policy explains how Geniuslane Child Development Centre ("Geniuslane", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you use https://www.geniuslane.com, our appointment booking, our chat assistant and our app. Because we support children, we take particular care with children's information.
Who we are
Geniuslane Child Development Centre, [registered address], is the data controller. For privacy questions contact our Data Protection lead at support@geniuslane.org or +91 9598157092.
Information we collect
Details you give us: parent/guardian name, contact details (phone, email), your child's name and age, the concerns and information you share when booking, using the chat assistant, or completing our screener or assessments.
Health-related information about your child. This is sensitive / special-category information and we only collect what is needed to provide care and support.
Technical information: device, browser and usage data collected through essential and (with consent) analytics cookies.
How we use it and our legal basis
To respond to appointment requests, provide assessments and care, and communicate with you — on the basis of the services you request and, for health information, your explicit consent.
To operate and improve the website, chat assistant and app — on the basis of our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights.
To meet legal, clinical-record and safeguarding obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
The chat assistant
Messages you send to our chat assistant are processed to answer your questions and may be reviewed to improve the service. Please do not share more personal or health detail than necessary, and never emergency information — the chat is not monitored for emergencies.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example secure form, scheduling, communication, hosting and analytics providers), bound by contract to protect it; with clinicians involved in your child's care; and where required by law or to safeguard a child.
International transfers
We operate across India and the United Kingdom, so information may be processed in these countries. Where information moves across borders we use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
How long we keep it
We keep personal and clinical information only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal and clinical-record retention requirements, then securely delete or anonymise it.
Security
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect it and to notify you and regulators of serious breaches as required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your information, to withdraw consent, and to data portability. To exercise them, contact support@geniuslane.org. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children and parental consent
Our services are arranged by parents and guardians on behalf of children. We rely on you to provide consent for your child, and we handle children's information with heightened care and only for their care and support.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to run the site and, only with your consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage non-essential cookies through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will post the new date here. Questions or requests: support@geniuslane.org.
