Autism assessment in Lucknow
Evidence-based assessment and personalised, family-centred support.
We have 3 centres in Lucknow, led by Dr Rahul Bharat, Dr T R Yadav and Dr Sabi Qazi. Each assesses children for autism alongside the rest of their development — because the question is rarely only about one thing.
Autism (Autism Spectrum Disorder) is a difference in how a child communicates, interacts, and experiences the world. It's a spectrum — every autistic child is different, with their own strengths and challenges.
Where you would be seen in Lucknow
What parents often notice
- •Differences in eye contact, gestures or responding to their name
- •Delayed speech, or unusual use of language
- •Strong preference for routine, and distress at change
- •Repetitive movements or intense, focused interests
- •Finding social interaction or play with other children difficult
Every child is different, and noticing one or two of these doesn’t mean your child has autism. If you’re unsure, an assessment brings clarity.
How geniuslane helps
The assessment is the same wherever you are seen, and it is multidisciplinary rather than a single appointment with a single professional. What an autism assessment involves →

Coming to us in Lucknow
Who would see my child in Lucknow?
We have 3 centres in Lucknow, led by Dr Rahul Bharat, Dr T R Yadav and Dr Sabi Qazi. Assessment is multidisciplinary, so you may also meet a psychologist, a speech and language therapist or a play specialist from the same team.
Which Lucknow centre should we come to?
Whichever is easiest to reach — the assessment and the team's approach are the same at each, and your child's records move with them if you change centre. The addresses are listed above.
We live outside Lucknow. Is it worth travelling?
Many families travel in from across Uttar Pradesh. The first appointment is the long one; after that, much of the follow-up happens through the family app and, where it suits you, by video — so the travel is usually front-loaded rather than repeated every week.
Do we need a referral for autism assessment?
No. Parents can book directly. If your child has already been seen elsewhere, bring any reports with you — they save repeating work.
Questions about autism itself — the signs, the causes, what a diagnosis means — are answered on the autism page →
This page is general information to help parents, not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice. Every child is different. For a diagnosis or personalised guidance, book an assessment with our team. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
