Speech delay assessment in Agra
Help for late talkers and children who find communication difficult.
Our Agra centre is led by Dr Neeraj Yadav, and assesses children for speech delay alongside the rest of their development — because the question is rarely only about one thing.
Speech and language delay means a child's talking or understanding is developing more slowly than expected for their age. Some children are “late talkers” who catch up; for others, difficulty with communication is part of a wider developmental picture.
Where you would be seen in Agra
What parents often notice
- •Few or no words by an age when peers are talking
- •Hard to understand, or not putting words together
- •Seems not to understand simple instructions
- •Limited pointing, gesturing or eye contact when communicating
- •Frustration or behaviour that comes from not being understood
Every child is different, and noticing one or two of these doesn’t mean your child has speech delay. If you’re unsure, an assessment brings clarity.

Coming to us in Agra
Who would see my child in Agra?
Our Agra centre is led by Dr Neeraj Yadav. Assessment is multidisciplinary, so depending on what your child needs you may also meet a psychologist, a speech and language therapist or a play specialist from the same team.
We live outside Agra. Is it worth travelling?
Many families travel in from across Uttar Pradesh. The first appointment is the long one; after that, much of the follow-up happens through the family app and, where it suits you, by video — so the travel is usually front-loaded rather than repeated every week.
Do we need a referral for speech delay assessment?
No. Parents can book directly. If your child has already been seen elsewhere, bring any reports with you — they save repeating work.
Questions about speech delay itself — the signs, the causes, what a diagnosis means — are answered on the speech delay page →
This page is general information to help parents, not a medical diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice. Every child is different. For a diagnosis or personalised guidance, book an assessment with our team. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
